In need of a last minute dessert? This is the answer! Melt chocolate, dip strawberries, done. Happy faces guaranteed. Multiply quantity for larger crowds.
Dark chocolate (min 70%) is rich in antioxidants, can be good for the heart, can strengthen immunity and is associated with longevity.
- Break chocolate in pieces and melt ‘au bain marie’ (in a metal or heat resistant glass bowl over simmering water, make sure water does not touch bowl) frequently stirring with spoon
- Wash strawberries and remove crown
- Using forks, dip strawberries in chocolate and eat
- Optional: dip strawberries in chocolate and let cool 30 minutes
